We hire minds, not CVs.

Types of minds we seek

Recognise yourself? Let’s talk.

We care far more about how you think than what you studied. These are the shapes of mind that tend to do well here.

The Pattern Finders

  • See the shape of a problem fast
  • Notice what everyone else skimmed
  • Reduce mess to something simple
  • Wrong answers bother them

The System Builders

  • Think in pieces that fit together
  • Build things that don't need babysitting
  • Sweat the edge cases early
  • Leave it better documented than found

The Craft Obsessives

  • Notice the two pixels that are off
  • Rewrite it because it reads badly
  • Care how it feels, not just that it works
  • Would rather ship less, done properly

Where the work is

Where another exceptional mind would help most

Product engineering

Next.js and TypeScript across our own products and client builds. Someone who can own a feature end to end — data model through to the pixel — and argue for cutting half of it.

Design & brand

Interface design that survives contact with real content, plus identity work for clients. Comfortable designing in the browser rather than only in Figma.

AI & automation

Tool-use, retrieval and evaluation over real business data. Getting a model to answer correctly about someone's revenue is a different job from getting it to answer at all.

Client delivery

Turning a vague problem into a scoped week of work, then keeping it on the rails. Half project management, half saying no to the right things.

These are areas, not vacancies. We hire when the work genuinely needs another pair of hands rather than on a schedule — so if the timing is wrong but you’re right, write anyway.

How we hire

Four steps, about a week and a half.

1 — You write to us

No form to fill in

Send something you built and a couple of lines on why it's interesting. A CV is fine, but it's the work we read.

2 — A real conversation

~45 minutes

Not a quiz. We talk about what you've made, what went wrong in it, and what you'd do differently.

3 — A paid exercise

Paid, always

A small, real piece of work scoped to a few hours. We pay for your time — asking for free labour to prove yourself is a bad way to start.

4 — Decision

Within a week

Yes or no, with the reasoning either way. We won't leave you guessing.
